I’m predominantly a filmmaker form Glasgow, Scotland. I taught myself photography a number of years ago to fill in the spaces when I wasn’t making moving images. I’m obsessed with slime, eyeballs, body-horror and the puzzling perversions of those around me.
My work is canonically colorful, composed and angular. I have a penchant for geometry in images. I like to photograph people inhabiting geometric spaces that haemorrhage colour. Often there will be an implicitly nihilistic or offbeat tone to juxtapose the the subject from the surroundings. Paradoxes are a kink.
I’m not very tech-savvy. I often brink on technophobe. But I use a Canon 550D and an Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II.
